At work, for many years now we have had a stick.  When ever a developer, or specifically some manager does something really stupid their name gets put on the stick / an extra mark is added to their stupidity tally.  The old stick is looking a bit battered so the “holder of the stick” (aka stick bitch) has acquired a  new one.

I’m not sure if the stick will ever be enforced, but it does act as a great deterrent.

“When the revolution happens you will behold the power of the stick”.

I won’t say what happens, but I assure you after the stick has been executed you won’t be able to read the tallies on it….
