Tree house

Finished off a tree house for the boys this weekend. There was concern by the grandparents that it did not have sides. I tried explaining that they wouldn’t be able to jump off / climb down the rope if I put sides on but they still think it’s unsafe. Falling out tree houses never did me any harm.

love the tree house! Your kids are lucky… have you seen all the coverage of how playgrounds are to be made “more dangerous” again to help kids learn consequences of their actions and to make reasoned decisions? About bloomin’ time. Just wish we had a suitable tree for our kids, we have to go to the local park for climbing!
